GIIS WINGS by Global Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GCIE) is an initiative dedicated to enriching women's presence in STEM career pathways by encouraging young girls right from the school. 

Under GIIS WINGS, the GCIE department of GIIS Abu Dhabi recently hosted a pivotal event focused on cyber security. The session was led by Sreelakshmi Palliyil, Senior Red Team Security Consultant, and Praveen Singh, an expert in Threat Intelligence, on navigating the complexities of cyber space with caution and vigilance.

The event, tailored for teachers and staff members, aimed to equip them with essential knowledge and tools to safeguard their online presence and, in turn, educate their studentsThe speakers explained various aspects of cybersecurity, ranging from ethical hacking techniques to best practices for protecting personal privacy online.
